The tribe has spoken!

I came across the most gorgeous comforters while scrolling through my ever growing Instagram feed just before the birth of my second child. I hadn't yet got bubs a special cuddle toy and I was glad I hadn't because as soon as I saw the "Kippins" I just had to have one!
Kippins are designed right here in Australia (fist pump) and are ethically made using 100% organic cotton and are hand printed using organic ink! Pretty Awesome right!
This years release of Kippins sees a tribe of 7 funky friends to choose from.
Newbies Splits, Coco, and Bam join favorites River, Dash, Kitty and Billy Kippin and boy are these hot property or what!

Meet Pipers partner in crime Coco Kippin.

I originally only chose Kitty Kippin but immediately after I checked out I regretted only buying one Kippin and not getting Coco, so I contacted my favourite stockist of Kippins in Perth L'Amour  to reserve  Coco.
Coco is a flamingo and wears a gorgeous floral crown on her head she is bright and has a gorgeous eye catching pattern which attracts the interest of my babe.

The size is perfect and its very huggable and loveable, as soon as I gave this to my little one she immediately attached to it and hasn't put it down since!

Overall I am super happy with the quality, the feel, the look and by purchasing Kippins I am supporting an Australian business.

As you can see it clearly passes the taste test.

Here is our Kitty kippin who is equally as huggable and loveable as Coco.

This teething babe of mine!

When my little man was about Pipers age he developed the worst dribble rash. It really was bad.
As a first time mum i wasnt aware of all the teething accessories available  to make your life with a teething baby easier.
This time I'm making sure i am prepared, and i have come accross a funky little shop called just a little baby .
I love the variety on offer whether you are after sweet and pretty patterns, unisex or boyish ones for the little fellas, you have many fab designs to choose from.
As you can see Pip loves sticking her tounge out and with that brings alot of drool!
I ended up leaving this just a little baby dribble bib on her all afternoon and it kept her chest and neck completely dry.
i love that it has the terry toweling material underneath which i think is a big factor in keeping the moisture of the skin and makes a great barrier.
The watermelon print would be one of my favorites in the collection, i just love the brightness and summer vibes that comes with it.

Have a peek at the just a little baby instagram account to keep up to speed with all the latest happenings.

Anarkid Organic

Anarkid is one of my absolute fav organic clothing labels for the kiddies. Anarkid was created in Melbourne and offers some pretty rad GOT certified organic threads.

Anarkid tee pictured here with hellobanjo ice cream harem leggings.

I was immediately attracted to the bright colors and quirky prints on the summer range for Anarkid but it was the luxuriously soft feel that these gorgeous pieces had that won me over and i was all to excited to get my little babes bod into this soft goodness.

My babe is a spewer so i almost have to wash everything daily. Lets just say the Anarkid threads have been through the wash already about 5 times and that gorgeous softness is still their.
To help reduce the amount of times i need to wash i also ended up recently purchasing
the Anarkid dribblebib, and is perfect to catch those drips and to keep Pips chest dry.

Find out more about Anarkid and their Summer range here. If your needing some styling inspiration why not add a little brightness to your instagram feed and  check out there Instagram page.

Sunflower Animal Farmstay

What a fantastic trip away we just had. We had a fabulous vacation down in Margret river, Western Australia. In Margaret river there are many beautiful places to choose to stay and it didn't take us long to decide that the Sunflowers Animal Farm would be the perfect place for our little family to enjoy a little trip away. Travelling with an almost 2 year old can be hard to find something to do to keep them entertained but this we didn't have to worry about as there was so much to do and to see at Sunflowers.
Sunflowers Farm is located about 6km out of Margaret river township on Caves road, so it is only a 10 minute drive into town if you need to stock up on the necessities, or have a nice meal out with friends (definitely check out Settlers tavern).

The farm is open to the public from 9am-5pm and for guests who choose to stay in one of the farms four self contained units you can access the animals at anytime. There are over 250 animals at Sunflowers who are all super friendly and look forward to a cuddle and some goodies from your feeding bucket that you can collect when you enter the animal farm.
The feed buckets are $3.00 for non staying guests and free for guests who are staying at the farm who will receive a bucket each morning and afternoon.
Some of the animals at the farm were Rabbits, Parrots, Sheep, lambs, Alpacas, Goats, Calfs, Horses, Ponies, Emus, Baby kangaroos, Ducks, Geese, sheep dogs and more!
At 10 am and 4pm guests will also have the opportunity to help bottle-feed the animals each day which is an experience both the children and adults will love.

For those who choose to stay over night or the course of there visit in Margaret river as mentioned before there are 4 self contained units to choose from they sleep between 6-9 guests. The unit we stayed in was the North unit was the largest and this unit will sleep 9. The unit has 2 bedrooms one with a queen bed and a single bed and the other bedroom has a Queensize bed, in the main lounge area there are also 2 bunk beds with the ability to sleep four more people.

We found the cabin to be clean and comfortable and very homely, with a log fire that gave a great sense of tranquillity as we looked outside into the meadows with grazing sheep. We also were provided with a high chair and Porta cot which freed up space in our car and was so much easier then taking our own.
We enjoyed the barbecue area as it overlooked the big play area that was safe for our toddler to run around in. Would be a good idea to cook your barbecue before it gets dark as there is no lighting.  We enjoyed our farm fresh egg and bacon barbecue breakfast each morning.
Pony rides, egg collecting and tractor rides are some more extra activities those who are staying on the farm can enjoy. If you would like to make a booking to stay at the Sunflowers farm you can visit there website for further information or any more questions you would like to have answered. http://www.sunflowersfarm.com/
